Russian River Redwoods forest purchased by conservation group

Conservation group Save the Redwoods League has purchased nearly 400 acres of Redwood forest in Sonoma County known as the Russian River Redwoods. The forest sits above the Russian River near Guerneville and includes 224 acres that were previously targeted for logging. KTVU's Alex Savidge speaks with Jeff Stump, Senior Manager of Land Protection for Save the Redwoods League about the importance of the purchase and plans for the land moving forward.
